A Tissue Pouch Tutorial

Here is a quick and simple gift to make, a tissue pouch.......

What you’ll need:

  1. Two pieces of fabric. (6 1/2 inches x 7 inches)
  2. Thread
  3. Ruler
  4. Rotary Cutter
  5. Cutting Mat
  6. Scissors

Using a rotary cutter, ruler, and cutting mat, cut 2 piece of fabric to 6 1/2 inches by 7 inches

With right sides together stitch 1/4 inch from the edge all around the outside of the fabric. Leave about 1-2″ opening on the Long side for turning.

Turn and press. Make sure to press the opening to the inside.

Pull the pouch inside out. Bring short edges to the middle . Place the fabric you want on the outside in the inside. Iron the fabric flat again.

Start sewing the sheets together about 1/4inch from the edge, leaving an inch or two on a long side to turn the fabric when you're done.

Fold the two sides in toward the middle (you can have them touch or slightly overlap, depending on your   preference) and sew the edges together.

Finally, all you have left to do is wiggle a personal size package of facial tissue into your facial tissue holder!

You can make them in any color combination you want and for a variety of occasions. You could easily make a ton of these assembly style
