     Surface pitted nails are early symptoms of psoriasis or inflammatory arthritis. Psoriasis is 
     a skin disease that almost 10% of his starts with nail problems such as this.

6. Nail cracked ( cracked nail )
     Dry and brittle nails and chapped often associated with mumps. If these conditions are
     cracked  combined with a yellowish color, it tends to be caused by a fungal infection.

7. Inflammation in the nail fold ( puffy nail fold )

8. Dark stripe under the nail ( dark lines )

9. Bite your nails ( nail gnawed )
    Biting your nails may be regarded as old habits. But, in some cases, this is a sign of 
    anxiety, which can be treated with medication. Nail biting is associated with obsessive-
    compulsive disorder.
    If you can not stop this practice, it is better to consult a doctor.
